One customer describes his computer as paranoid. "I find myself clicking so many approval and 'are you sure' dialogs that I think my computer doubts me."
Vista was advertised to improve users computer experience with interactive protection from spyware and viruses and increase performance with better communication with your systems hardware. It has not come cheap and not without some sacrifice.
To improve the invasion of spyware into your system vista now prompts you to confirm your actions. Nearly every action you make is proceeded by an "are you sure" confirmation box. One customer describes his computer as paranoid. "I find myself clicking so many approval and 'are you sure' dialogs that I think my computer doubts me."
Having to contend with updating your existing hardware (scanners, printers, etc.) is common in the early stages of new OS releases. With the release of Vista however many manufactures were late with releasing updated drivers. This left many users with unusable printers and other devices with no option but to re-purchase their equipment.
Most seasoned users know new software means more resources will be needed to "power the features". Vista is no exception. Vista requires so much additional memory and hard drive space that computers not only ran slower that expected but no upgrade would bring the computers "up to speed" to meet the demands of the new OS. Did this mean existing computers were obsolete.
Go anywhere today and purchase a new system and bring this knowledge with you. Ask for a system with XP as your OS of choice and you will hear this from your sales clerk. "Bring it over to Micro Data. They're the only place we know where you can convert from Vista to XP" You can save yourself the trouble and purchase one of our ACER systems with XP already installed.
Get Real. If having your computer shipped out to somewhere else for fixen is not the kind of authorization you were looking for then please stop in.
